Life or Death

Today my heart is filled with gratitude towards the Lord up above for making the decision to keep my dear mother here on Earth with my family and myself. She has been in the hospital for a week with a severe illness. I felt very broken at first because my mother and I are not in the same state. I talk with her everyday, however, the day I was informed that her health had taken a turn for the worst I felt helpless. The sheer idea of not having my mother is a devastating thought. I had to recognize that the enemy was making another attempt to break me through touching a loved one. I had to regroup, get quiet and meditate on God and His promises. I had to depend on faith knowing that God would heal her. I had to stop crying and start rejoicing for the miracle before it was even performed. I had to call the devil out for the liar that he is and put him back in his place! Do not let the enemy win your thoughts and steel your integrity!

There has been several close calls in the past, and every instance was just as stressful as the next. In this particular case, I came to the realization that we as fleshly beings are selfish when it comes to our loved ones. When death and illness becomes a factor we ignore God's will. We do not even want to face the reality that loved ones belong to Him first! He chose us, not the other way around. Everyone has their unique time and season here on Earth, and once the time clock stops ticking it is not up to us as to when someone will be called home. Nothing can prevent grieving, but doing the best you can towards your loved ones will help comfort your mind through mourning. If you have already lost someone, and feel that there was more you should have done or something you would have done or said different then you have to do two things: Come to the realization that the past cannot be repeated. Then also realize that pity on yourself only brings suffering. Instead, ask God for forgiveness and closure. Only He has the power to take the pain and regret away.

I say all of this to encourage people to love one another while they are still here. In the words of my dear mother, "give them their flowers while they are here to smell them." Meaning, let people know what they are worth to you while they are here. Appreciate those that are near and dear to your heart. Show love through action and value every second that you have to share because you will never know when God is ready to say "time's up".

You Are Exalted

Father God,

I glorify and magnify your holy name! You are worthy of all of my praise. How great you are in all of the Earth. You keep all organic things in harmony, all natural things pure. You breathe the breath of life into my lungs, as well as my loved ones, every single day. And for those loved ones that you had to call home, I thank you allowing them to watch over me. Thank you for granting them a place in Your kingdom. Allow me to be stronger and wiser than I was yesterday. Grant me a decerning spirit so that I may be able to recognized the wolf from the sheep. I love you Lord, and I thank you for choosing me. For many are called, but few are chosen.

Dig Deep

When you dig deep into your spirit you reach your destiny. It is where your true identity lies. It is the reflection of God. Dig through those layers of doubt, confusion, and lack of self identity. Dig through the unmotivated and unflattering comments from others that do not know your true potential. Find yourself through God's reflection and then is when you will acknowledge your true worth!

Keep the Faith

Keeping strong faith means you trust God and all of His promises. You trust everything He represents and His position in your life. Fear in life equates to doubting God, but faith gives blessed assurance! It is the evidence of things not seen, and the substance of things hoped for.

Confirmation

I was moved this past weekend to visit my family in Louisiana. My brother had been weighing heavy on my heart, so I decided to go and deliver the message God planted into my spirit. I made it there, and sure enough he was in a devastated state of confusion and despair. Several situations are trying to break him down mentally at one time. I shared the words that God gave me to speak. The next day we all went to Sunday's church service together for Father's Day. Everything that I expressed to him was confirmed through the pastor's words! My brother was called up to the alter for a prophecy, and there the confirmation was delivered!

God works in mysterious ways! God uses us as his ministers in this world in order to edify the church by passing on words that are confirmed through the spirit. You situation is not just for you! You go through trials so that you can take the lesson from it, and pass it on to bless someone else. God test our faithfulness and our determination through test in life. He grants us favor, grace and mercy when we show ourselves approved! Never reject when God is trying to use you! You may be the one person that God chooses to use in a situation to prove His glory! Listen to your spirit and act in love towards one another. It could result in conquering the enemy and bringing someone through their tribulation.

Prayer Works

Pray without ceasing! In every situation and circumstance include God's assistance on every thought. When you pray about it all you can rest assure that you will worry about nothing if your prayers are backed up with your faith!

Declare the Victory

I declare and decree the victory over all of my circumstances! Lord God you are the leader of my life! Nothing and no one will ever come before you. Have your way with me Lord. Lead and guide me in the right direction, and order my footsteps according to your will. My arms have grown tired of swinging at life with my own methods of understanding, so I ask that you grant me your wisdom, knowledge, and above all things Overstanding. In the mighty name of Jesus... Amen

Tune In

Tuning in to your spirit within reveals your true reflection. It is the pure water that flows from the Most High through you. Dig deep to seek the true you.

Take It Back!

Everything that has been weight on my shoulders, God I ask that you make it a step stool under my feet! The devil is always trying to steal what God has in store in our life. He goes after our integrity! Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I claim everything that God has in store for me! Everything that the devil intended for bad God has, and will, continue to turn it into my good!

Thy Faithfulness

God knows I am not perfect, but He does know that I am faithful. I am faithful to Him having His perfect will and perfect way. So as I grow closer to Him, through God's reflection I become perfection.

Bless His Holy Name

I will bless the Lord at all times. Not only because of what He has done for me, but because of who He is! We are all created to bless God. He is worthy because of our safe keeping, because of His precious grace and mercy, because of life, health and strength. We get a new chance everyday He breathes the breath of life into us. So why not start this new day with a moment of praise... bless His holy name.
