Today my heart is filled with gratitude towards the Lord up above for making the decision to keep my dear mother here on Earth with my family and myself. She has been in the hospital for a week with a severe illness. I felt very broken at first because my mother and I are not in the same state. I talk with her everyday, however, the day I was informed that her health had taken a turn for the worst I felt helpless. The sheer idea of not having my mother is a devastating thought. I had to recognize that the enemy was making another attempt to break me through touching a loved one. I had to regroup, get quiet and meditate on God and His promises. I had to depend on faith knowing that God would heal her. I had to stop crying and start rejoicing for the miracle before it was even performed. I had to call the devil out for the liar that he is and put him back in his place! Do not let the enemy win your thoughts and steel your integrity!
There has been several close calls in the past, and every instance was just as stressful as the next. In this particular case, I came to the realization that we as fleshly beings are selfish when it comes to our loved ones. When death and illness becomes a factor we ignore God's will. We do not even want to face the reality that loved ones belong to Him first! He chose us, not the other way around. Everyone has their unique time and season here on Earth, and once the time clock stops ticking it is not up to us as to when someone will be called home. Nothing can prevent grieving, but doing the best you can towards your loved ones will help comfort your mind through mourning. If you have already lost someone, and feel that there was more you should have done or something you would have done or said different then you have to do two things: Come to the realization that the past cannot be repeated. Then also realize that pity on yourself only brings suffering. Instead, ask God for forgiveness and closure. Only He has the power to take the pain and regret away.
I say all of this to encourage people to love one another while they are still here. In the words of my dear mother, "give them their flowers while they are here to smell them." Meaning, let people know what they are worth to you while they are here. Appreciate those that are near and dear to your heart. Show love through action and value every second that you have to share because you will never know when God is ready to say "time's up".

The Whispers of Water
"The Whispers of Water" is serving the world with
powerful and compelling composition. This book is proving its purpose to
hydrate every soul that feels like the well in life has ran dry.
The raw and relevant content of this book gives readers a
vivid perspective of life in a unique way. This book is a compilation of spoken
word derived from the author's point of view. It unfolds truth told by the
Spirit, and confirms the revelation of life through biblical reference, praise,
poetry, and theology. It is the author's desire that "The Whispers of Water" will quench dehydrated souls, and help to inspire spiritual
freedom. The “Whispers” are the author's signification of relativity to the
world through her personal experiences. The “Water” is the pure substance given
to the author by the Most High God through the Holy Spirit that any and every
being can take part in, and be blessed with. Overall, this book serves as
evidence to the world that spiritual freedom is created through the lessons
learned from carnal captivity, as well as allowing God’s word to reside within
our hearts.
